About Us

St. Anthony Hall is a co-ed arts and literary fraternity and is the second oldest Greek-letter organization at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. While we are built on traditions, which we are proud of, you will find us anything but traditional. Our members strive to challenge societal norms with our diversity, inspire individual creativity, and develop personal introspection through a supportive and unifying social environment. We are many different individuals, with unique backgrounds, cultures, stories, woes, ideas, and opinions. We are artists, writers, mathematicians, linguists, actors, musicians and everything in between. We come together to learn from one another and challenge ourselves to grow and change as people. We have the resources for you to write, draw, play, sculpt, think, experiment, design, and create whatever project you're drawn towards. We'll be honest and supportive, but you don't have to be a prodigy—or even talented. Just be yourself. That's what we're all about. Stop by. Hang out. Get to know us better.
We host open-mike sessions called Poetry, Prose and Pancakes, art shows, special dinners with guest speakers, community projects, and public programs to help the community. Our most important activity, though, is our weekly meeting, where brethren can share their ideas and projects and receive constructive feedback to help achieve their goals.
